Matters of public interest may also qualify. Contact us to discuss your situation confidentially — there is no obligation.
Mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third party helps parties reach their own agreement — the mediator does not impose a decision. Arbitration is more formal: the arbitrator hears both sides and issues a binding decision. We help clients choose the right path based on their dispute and goals.
Kenya's Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) — recognized under the AJS Policy of 2020 — are customary, religious, or community-based justice mechanisms that operate alongside the formal court system. They are especially valuable in resolving family, land, and community disputes in culturally appropriate and restorative ways.
Yes — for qualifying clients and matters, our legal aid services are provided free of charge. We treat every request with confidentiality and dignity. If we cannot take on your matter directly, we will do our best to refer you to another provider or organization who can help.
